Whitepaper: Simics Transaction-Level Modeling (TLM)

This whitepaper explains how transaction-level modeling (TLM) is used throughout a Simics simulation to create a fast full-system virtual platform. It compares the level of abstraction used in Simics with those defined in SystemC TLM-2.0. It describes the Simics transaction model for interfaces other than the memory map of a system, and shows some examples of such TLM interfaces.
